Digital Age Tools

Disclaimer: There is no guarantee that you will earn passive income online, make money, or achieve any kind of specific result using the information on this page or website or in my book. Results can vary from person to person.

My passive income book links to this page in a number of areas when discussing specific tools that can help you with your Digital Age ventures. The starting point for everything is to create a (WordPress) blog to establish your web presence and platform for communicating with your tribe. This allows you to begin the process of making money doing work you love. To get started, follow the detailed steps to Start a Blog in 5 Minutes.

Okay, let’s begin:

Doing the Vision Exercises found in my Passive Income Book

For the Vision Exercises I recommend a free mind mapping tool like xmind. The Vision Exercises in the book start with a series of 12 lists you create for yourself (the book has much more detail on how to think about and use the lists). Here is an example I created showing the starting point for the first 6 lists:

You can add all 12 lists to the same mind map and brainstorm connection ideas between the lists. It is very easy to use. After downloading and installing xmind, I just opened it and clicked on Map. Then for theme I chose Professional.

After clicking on create you just click the Insert Menu to insert a Floating Topic for each question. You can also just double click in some empty space in the mind map to insert a new floating topic. Then click on a topic and hit the tab button to add subtopics. These are the list items you see attached to my mind map above (e.g. the list you see in the first image above that starts with Manage Projects). I dragged the floating topics over to the main central topic that I named My Vision Exercises to connect it all together. That’s it. Very easy to use, and a great way to do some brainstorming with your lists!

Email Marketing Services

For email marketing I use Aweber.

I will add more tools to this page as time permits.
